Worship
"Biblical worship is the priority and privilege for every believer. It is to be focused on God, centered in Christ, and driven by the Holy Spirit. Stylistic issues are important, but only as it relates to communication - it should never be the focus of our attention. That is reserved for our Lord." - Jon Duncan
The Church Growth Division is available to assist church through specialist across the convention to experience worship that pleases God and transforms lives. A Worship Renewal workshop involves the participants in discovering God's truths as it applies to worship and apply it to their life through worship.
Skill training is available in worship planning. These training sessions include the use of the hymnal, improving worship through multimedia and understanding the needs and desires of the congregation.
We provide a Music Leaders Workshop for the volunteer and bivocational music leader. This will include the basics such as: how to introduce a hymn/chorus; what do I do with my hands?; and Selecting appropriate music for the worship service.
The Worship Renewal Conference is designed to help local churches experience worship that pleases the Father and transforms lives. The Worship Renewal Conference is a multi-media training event that presents the truth of God's Word as it applies to the priority of worship for every believer. The conference focuses on several key questions:
- What is worship?
- Can we experience God's presence, and really know it?
- What drives real worship?
- What does the Bible have to say about style and cultural changes in worship?
- How can we make worship more meaningful?
