 Woman's Missionary Union
Woman's Missionary Union® challenges Christian believers to understand and be radically involved in the mission of God. WMU® has a missions focus which encourages people to: pray for and give to missions, do missions, learn about missions, develop spiritually toward a missions lifestyle, and participate in the work of the church and denomination.
WMU supports ministries such as the Baptist Nursing FellowshipSM, Christian Women's Job Corps®, Missionary Housing, International InitiativesSM, Project HelpSM, Pure Water Pure LoveSM, Volunteer ConnectionSM (including MissionsFEST) and WorldCraftsSM.
WMU supports the following missions education organizations:
- Women on Mission®, for women 18 and up
- Adults on MissionSM, for men and women 18 and up
- Acteens®, for girls grades 7-12
- Youth on MissionSM, for boys and girls grades 7-12
- Girls in Action®, for girls grades 1-6
- Children in ActionSM, for boys and girls grades 1-6
- Mission Friends®, for preschool girls and boys birth through prefirst

The Baptist Convention of New York WMU works closely with women's enrichment and women's evangelism through the convention Tapestry strategy. Annual women's events include the following:
- Women's Evangelism Luncheon
- RefresHer Retreat
- Prayer Journey
- Leading Edge Regional Training Conference
- Missions Celebration
