Church Planting

We believe that the most effective way to reach the lost of our convention with the gospel is through planting healthy, evangelistic churches. We envision a church planting movement of healthy churches multiplying themselves in every association and people group of the Baptist Convention of New York.

We have identified six priority areas that must be addressed in order to see this vision realized. We believe that focusing on these areas will PREPARE the Baptist Convention of New York for a church planting movement like none of us have ever witnessed. The five priority areas are:

Prayer, Recruitment/Enlistment, Equipping, Partnerships, Awareness, Resources, Evaluation
