In 1984,The Baptist Convention of New York named the State Missions Offering to honor Paul and Ava James. The offering is known as the James Missions Offering (JMO).
In the 20 + years JMO has been in existence the proceeds form the offering have been used to start new churches across the multi-state convention territory. Many different ministries focusing on a broad range of diverse people groups have been initiated. A number of evangelism, ministry and church growth projects have benefited from JMO.
