The mission of the Evangelism and Ministry Division of the Baptist Convention of New York is to partner with churches to share the gospel of Jesus Christ through word and deed in churches, communities, and around the world. More succinctly stated we are…

Major Ministry Objectives:

1. To equip and train believers for effective personal evangelism.

2. To assist and resource local churches in developing and implementing a strategy for evangelism and ministry in their community.

3. To accomplish cooperative planning in collaboration with our ministry partners.

4. To communicate the role of the division staff and the evangelistic success of our churches.

5. To lead believers to be involved in global evangelism.

We will be able to accomplish this by helping churches and associations develop and implement a comprehensive evangelism strategy; by training people in how to do evangelism; and by providing evangelistic resources; and modeling an evangelistic lifestyle.  The following diagram reflects the three focuses of our team…
