BCNY Bible Drill Information

Bible Drill is for children and youth and high school students in grades 4-12.
The purpose of Bible Drill is to help students and their families:

Increase knowledge of the Bible
-
Develop skills in effectively handling God's Word

Memorize, in order, the names of the books of the Bible
-
Memorize selected verses and key passages
-
Learn how to apply the Bible to life
Speakers' Tournament is for high school students in grades 10-12.
The purpose of Speakers' Tournament is to help high school students:
-
Develop essential skills in selecting, researching and writing a speech on a specific topic
-
Be challenged to express their faith verbally
-
To be bold in sharing their faith with their peers

Psalm 119:11 tells us to hide God's Word in our hearts, so we might not sin against Him. When God's Word dwells in our hearts we are better able to meditate on His promises and His character and to flee from temptation.
