The Baptist Convention of New York Missions Division can assist you in obtaining endorsement to serve as a chaplain through the Southern Baptist Convention Chaplains Commission. Endorsement is a professional credential that affirms to an employer that a chaplain has met the basic requirements of the denomination to provide ministry in a specialized setting, and that the individual is a member in good standing of the Southern Baptist Convention.
